NOW HIRING

Assistant Project Manager (Residential Construction)

Creekside Custom Homes builds timeless, luxury, high-quality residences across Central Texas. We are known for our integrity, craftsmanship, and an unwavering commitment to providing a smooth, transparent, and enjoyable building experience for our clients.

Creekside Custom Homes is growing, and we’re looking for an exceptionally detailed and highly organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team as we deliver premier custom homes across Central Texas.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing our Project Management System—owning budgets, plans, project specifications, schedules, and purchasing workflows. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Designers, Superintendents, Trade Partners, and Clients to ensure every home is built to the highest standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and update budgets, architectural plans, specifications, and schedules

  • Coordinate purchasing and subcontractor agreements

  • Track and manage change orders, selections, and approvals

  • Assist with quality control documentation and progress reporting

  • Support overall project organization from kickoff to closeout

  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal team members to keep projects on track.

  • Assist in takeoffs and estimating during Pre-Construction

What We’re Looking For

  • Residential construction experience strongly preferred

  • Next-level attention to detail and documentation accuracy

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in construction technology / project management platforms

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Who You Are

  • The kind of person who can’t sleep if a budget is off by $5 — because every number matters.

  • You care whether a plug is 2" or 4" from the backsplash… and you’ll (politely) confirm the plan before anyone drills a hole.

  • When a problem comes up, you don’t panic — you map out every stakeholder, every document, and every next step until it’s solved.

  • You’re the type of person who can run traffic control for a busy team that’s always on the move, keeping everyone aligned and accountable.

  • You’re the type who loves usings apps, tools, or systems to make the process smoother or the team’s life easier.

  • You’re trustworthy. Integrity is non-negotiable. If we say we’ll do it — we will do it.

  • You’re driven and dependable, but you also know how to disconnect and enjoy life outside of construction.

  • Vendors and trade partners will love working with you because you are consistent, reliable, and generally fun to work with.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in residential or custom home construction (preferred)

  • Proficiency with software such as Buildertrend, CoConstruct, JobTread or similar PM platforms

Why You’ll Love Working Here
